Oh-Boy Gum was the apparently the staple product of
the Goudey Gum Company from the beginning in 1919 until at least World War II. There is even
evidence that Oh-Boy Gum may have been produced in East Boston as early as 1916 (three years before
incorporation of the Goudey Gum Company). Many advertizing Items were produced for Oh-Boy Gum. Click on the
picture of wrappers on the left to see examples of Oh-Boy Wrappers. Click on the Display Stand for more
photos of an early display used in the 1920s. Click on the Spearment Box to view a depression era box when the
price of Oh Boy Gum was reduced to 2 sticks for 1¢ from 1 stick for 1¢. Click on the Sheet Music to see
three different examples of Sheet Music issued by the Goudey Gum Company.
