1934 Knot Hole League Membership Kit - Goudey Gum Co.
In 1934 Goudey Gum introduced the Knot Hole League Club as a way of promoting Baseball, and
of course Goudey Gum products at the same time. You could join the Knot Hole League for
twenty wrappers and 3¢ in stamps. You would receive from Goudey Gum a membership patch
shown on the right, a brochure shown below, and a membership card also shown below. The
1935 Big League Wrapper also advertizes the Knot Hole
League, and states that you can get a new 1935 poster of premiums from your store. If you
had joined in 1935 you would get a ring instead of the Member Patch. In 1935 you could join
for 150 wrappers, or 50 wrappers and 10¢. In 1937 Knot
Hole Game cards (R-325) were packaged in Big League Gum.
