Indian Gum Premium - Goudey Gum Co.
"The Appeal to the Great Spirit"
As far as I know there are only 4 of the premiums still in existance at this time that were mailed out by the Goudey Gum Company. Three of them are in the
Burdick Collection and the fourth one (shown below) is owned by a private collector. The Burdick collection is in the "The Metropolitan Museum of Art"
in New York. There are additional prints that were not mailed out by The Goudey Gum Company in the material George Thompson sold for $500 to Professor John Fawcett
in 1969. The premium shown below is number 5A listed on varient 3 of the type 1 wrapper.
