These Cards were part of a series of Cards Depicting Indians and the Wild West issued in 1947-1948. After World War II Goudey attempted to re-enter the bubble gum market in 1947-48 with this new issue of 96 cards. A wrapper for this new issue of Indian Gum cards is shown on the far right. Click on the wrapper for a full size view of the wrapper. The Ring shown on the right is the ring advertised on the left side of the wrapper for 10 wrappers and $0.15. The new issue of 96 cards had black writing on the back and a different numbering scheme than the 1933 cards. Click on the card image on the right to get a larger view of the back of the card.
