1939 Diamond Stars Premiums - Goudey Gum Co.

These "In Store" Premiums were part of a series of 48 paper Premiums issued in 1939
with the title "Diamond Stars Gum" on the back. The Goudey Gum Company had bought the
"Diamond Stars" trademark and other assets when National Chicle went bankrupt in 1937.
These Premiums are smaller (4" x 6-3/16") than the
R303-B premiums (4-3/4" x 7-5/16"), but the first 24 photos are identical to the
photos from the R303-B premiums. These
premiums are printed in a brown toned sepia. Some of these premiums are shown below.
